13 students from the Rochester City School District were paid through RochesterWorks! to complete a 120-Hour Welding & Life Skills Program at the Rochester Arc + Flame Center. The "youth employees" created 3 welded metal sculptures that were donated to The Strong National Museum of Play, Youth Services Department (City of Rochester, NY - Mayor's Office) and RochesterWorks. Over the last 6 weeks, these students learned welding, marketing, social media, personal finance, public speaking and what it means to be a good employee! Arc + Flame couldn't be more proud of these young men and women.
